Etsy launched a great new feature this week called Etsy Local!
Etsy Local connects buyers with Etsy sellers who are participating in
fairs and markets in their local area. Buyers can search by location and
timeframe to see where Etsy sellers have set up shop.
In addition to
basic event info, Etsy Local
provides buyers with a list of sellers who’ve confirmed their
attendance, as well as links to those sellers' Etsy shops.
Etsy Local is optimized for mobile devices, so it’s easy to
discover events on the go!

This is important for not only customers who shop by color but also for Etsians who create Etsy Treasuries. Having your products in Treasuries will increase their exposure. Make your items easier to find and feature by including colors and feelings in your descriptions and tags ie yellow and gray, dreamy, misty, happy, nostalgic, vintage,...etc. Note: Your Keywords should appear in both your description and the tags to be optimized for search results.
